Maple's 2nd Birthday Bash!
Stop by any time during open hours to celebrate our longest-term resident on her 2nd birthday! Maple has officially spent HALF of her life in the shelter, so what better way to celebrate than by throwing her a party? Games, black cat decorations, desserts, and more! Plus, meet the marvelous Miss Maple! We hope to see you there and, more than anything, we hope Maple finds a loving home <3

Celebrate Hug Your Dog Day with Morning Star Therapy Dogs and Second Chance Humane Society at Chow Down in Montrose!
Ales for Tails– Telluride Brewing
Join us for a fun, beer-filled evening in Telluride! From 4-6pm, enjoy $6 beers in support of Second Chance Humane Society and Telluride Humane Society. We hope to see you there!
Chipeta Lodge Yappy Hour
Join us for a Spring Yappy Hour hosted by the White Buffalo Restaurant at Chipeta Lodge! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. Dress them up to participate in a Best Dressed Dog Contest, where the winner will receive a prize basket (includes a 1-night stay at Chipeta Lodge and toys/treats from ChowDown, with over $100 in value!). 10% of all proceeds support the animals at SCHS.

Swim, soak, and spend some time with us at this fun holiday event hosted at the Ouray Hot Springs!
Montrose Parade of Lights
